Following is the list of top ten best selling cars in India during September 2013. All figures have been rounded off to nearest 100.

In spite of fierce competition from other manufacturers, Suzuki India has maintained its lead in the car market with a very big margin. It has a market share of 44 per cent against its nearest rival i.e. Hyundai which has a share of 15 per cent. The Hindustan Motors-Mitsubishi combine is at the bottom of this list with just 170 units and second from the bottom is Fiat with 1086 units sold during the month.
Hyundai's latest offering Grand i10 has proved to be a blockbuster as it has entered the top 10 list with 8400 units. The older version of this car i.e. i10 has one drawback - absence of diesel engine. That has been taken care of by Grand i10 which has a 1.1 liter diesel engine. A very widespread service network of Hyundai has further increased the sales of this new car which is wider, longer and has better ride quality than the older version.
