Jazz and Mobilio coming soon to India

Honda is soon going to present two of its very awaited cars: Jazz and Mobilio in India. While Mobilio will be launched in June this year, Jazz will arrive in the market next month i.e. July.

Mobilio will be manufactured at the Noida plant while Jazz will be produced at Tapukara plant in Rajasthan. With Mobilio, Honda will challenge Suzuki's Ertiga, also a 7 seater, the current leader in this segment. Around 45000 Mobilios will be produced every year initially, which number will be increased seeing the demand. Mobilio will be propelled with 1.5 Lt. i-DTECH diesel engine which will give a mileage of around 25-26 kmpl, segment highest. Its petrol version will be powered by very famous 1.5 Lt. i-VTECH engine.

Jazz will be a premium hatch from Honda. It will have 1.2 Lt. petrol engine and diesel versions will be having 1.5 Lt. engine. Earlier Jazz, that was discontinued by Honda from India, was a failure because of people's reluctance for premium hatchbacks and non-availability of diesel version. Now, the company hopes to revive this car in its new look.
