Top Ten Best Selling Cars in India - September 2012

Following is the list of top ten best sellers in India during the month of September 2012.  Figures have been rounded off to nearest 100 -

1.  Suzuki Alto (21200) 
2.  Suzuki Wagon R (16500)
3.  Suzuki Dzire (11700)
4.  Mahindra Bolero (9500)
5.  Suzuki Swift (9100)
6.  Hyundai i10 (8100)
7.  Tata Indica (7900)
8.  Hyundai i20 (7800)
9.  Suzuki Ritz (7600)
10. Suzuki Ertiga (7100)

Out of top 10, six cars were Suzuki productions which indicated how much these products are in demand due to ease of maintenance and very good fuel efficiency.  Suzuki has a market share of 41 per cent of all cars sold in India during this month which is much higher compared to that of second rank which goes to Hyundai with 14 per cent market share.
